Terms of Use

Last updated 2 September 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms apply when you use ELECTRICAL HQ, including its AI-assisted review tools, field tools, community, marketplace and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Electrical decision-support service

ELECTRICAL HQ provides AI-assisted technical and commercial decision support. It is not electrical certification, engineering certification, statutory approval, legal advice or a substitute for a licensed or authorised electrical practitioner, current legislation, regulator guidance, applicable Australian Standards, DNSP/service rules, manufacturer instructions or site-specific safe-work procedures.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You remain responsible for the work you perform, supervise, authorise, approve, reject or pay for.

3. Electrical safety

Do not use ELECTRICAL HQ to justify unsafe live work or bypass isolation, proving de-energised, lockout/tagout, permits, licensing or authorisation. Electric shock, arc flash, fire, solar PV DC, battery systems, generators and other stored-energy sources can cause death or serious injury. Follow the applicable safe-work system and jurisdictional requirements.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

You must keep account credentials secure and use the service lawfully. Do not upload information you are not authorised to use, bypass plan/security controls, interfere with the service, misuse another user's records or present AI output as a certification or statutory approval when it is not one.

5. Your content

You retain your rights in content you upload or create. You grant ELECTRICAL HQ and its service providers the limited permission needed to host, process, analyse, transform and return that content so the requested feature can operate. You are responsible for rights and permissions relating to uploaded reports, contracts, standards, manuals, photographs, drawings, test records and client information.

6. Launch access and future subscriptions

Eligible new verified accounts can receive one 60-day Full Usage launch grant. No card is required and claiming the grant does not start a paid subscription. The grant cannot be repeatedly claimed or extended by creating another request.

If paid subscriptions are introduced, the applicable price, billing cycle, trial terms and cancellation method will be shown before checkout and these Terms may be updated accordingly.

7. Pricing and consumer rights

Prices, plan inclusions and promotional offers may change for future purchases or renewal periods. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian law.

8. Community and marketplace

Community posts are user-generated content. Do not post private client/site information or material you are not authorised to share. Sponsored or marketplace listings are promotional content and are not ELECTRICAL HQ technical approval, endorsement or warranty.

9. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ELECTRICAL HQ is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on unverified AI output, incorrect user-supplied information or third-party content. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Contact and changes

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@electricalhq.app. The current Terms and last-updated date will be published here.
